🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1952, a witness in Meade, Kansas, reported an object emitting intermittent fire and moving toward the northwest. The sighting occurred at 24:22 hours, and the object was visible for two seconds. Although no photos were taken, the report notes that weather conditions could not explain the phenomenon. Several flight centers confirmed no aerial activity in the area, adding mystery to the event. The official report classifies the sighting as unconfirmed, but the descriptions align with other cases from the era. The report was transmitted by the Air Force and forwarded to multiple offices, including the White House and the CIA. Despite official attention, no physical evidence was found and the source of the report remains unknown. The wind speed and estimated altitude suggest it was not a common natural phenomenon. This case, like many others from the 1950s, remains an unsolved mystery, fueling the curiosity of researchers and UFO enthusiasts.
