🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1952, three witnesses in Burley, Idaho, observed an unusual formation of twenty unidentified flying objects. The objects, oval in shape and trailing a flame three times their length, were moving at high speed in a rounded V formation. Despite their size and number, no sound was heard. The witnesses, though not professional aerial observers, agreed on the description. Weather conditions were ideal, with 30 miles visibility and clear skies. No confirmed sightings by nearby aircraft or physical evidence were recorded, adding mystery to the event.
The V formation and absence of noise make it difficult to explain with conventional means. Although weather or optical reflections were ruled out, the official report did not reach a clear conclusion. Like many other cases from that era, this event was filed without resolution, but remains a valuable testimony for UFO researchers.
