🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1952, a series of photographs taken in Kirksville, Missouri, captured unidentified flying objects that sparked significant interest. The images, taken by a local photographer, show unusual shapes and bright lights in the sky, leading to debates about their origin. Although some suggested they were planes or reflections, most agreed they had no conventional explanation.
The seven photos, including aerial and ground shots, were analyzed by experts and UFO enthusiasts. Despite efforts to find a natural explanation, such as weather balloons or moon reflections, the case remains one of the most intriguing from the 1950s. This event contributed to the growing public interest in unexplained aerial phenomena during that decade.
