🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1952, an observer at the Harrisburg Filter Center reported unidentified flying objects. Airman François Young, on night duty, saw strange lights appearing every 9 to 12 minutes. Some were in formation, with no visible noise or exhaust, at a high altitude. Weather conditions were ideal, with no aircraft reported in the area.
Young verified the sighting with another witness and noted the objects brightened before disappearing. The report was sent up the air force chain of command. Although not detected on radar, the case stood out for its repetition and clarity. This event is part of the numerous UFO reports from the 1950s.
