White UFO Sighted Over Memphis in 1952

In July 1952, a Memphis airport operator and other witnesses reported a fast-moving bright object heading northeast. It was described as a high-altitude white light, neither resembling an aircraft nor a meteor. Despite no air traffic being recorded in the area, the object did not follow wind patterns, making identification difficult. The official report, marked as "unidentified," offered no explanations or physical evidence.

The report was sent from Maxwell Flight Center and distributed to various air intelligence units.
