🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1952, near Brookley Air Base in Alabama, a series of sightings of unidentified aerial objects were reported, drawing the attention of both civilians and military personnel. Witnesses described bright lights changing colors between deep red and brilliant blue, and objects that remained stationary for up to 15 minutes before displaying unusual movements, such as jumps or vertical descents. Despite numerous observers, including a pilot and military staff, no sound, smoke, or exhaust was recorded, and the objects could not be identified using radar or conventional methods. The possibility of weather balloons or standard aircraft was ruled out.
Over three nights, from August 26 to 28, between six and seven aerial objects were reported, two large and bright, and four smaller ones. One object displayed particularly strange behavior, descending vertically to the level of the trees before ascending again. Although one object was detected by radar, no information could be obtained about its size, shape, or propulsion system. The descriptions consistently note the absence of noise and the inability to identify the nature of the objects, adding to the mystery of the observed events.
