🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1952, a Japanese civil engineer reported seeing an unidentified flying object over Tokyo. The object, described as a baseball-shaped object with a bright tail, was moving at high speed and silently. As it flew, it changed color from orange and yellow to white with a blue rim, and finally split into two spheres that disappeared instantly. The witness, known to U.S. intelligence personnel, stated that others also saw it, which increased the credibility of the report. Despite multiple sightings, authorities concluded it could be a natural phenomenon, such as a meteorite.
