🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
On the morning of August 2, 1952, a woman in San Francisco observed a very bright light in the sky. The light was stationary and three times brighter than a typical star. The witness, Marguerite Colvin, stated it could not be a building light due to its high position in the sky. The report notes that a high fog layer was hiding stars and the moon, making conventional identification difficult.
Naval authorities told Colvin they were conducting training in the area but refused to take any information about the sighting. Meteorological data showed strong winds at high altitudes, but no physical evidence or clear explanation was found. Despite investigation efforts, the object remained unidentified, adding a touch of mystery to this 1952 case.
