In August 1952, two airmen at Luke AFB, Arizona, reported a white glowing object traveling in a straight line at 200 mph. The phenomenon occurred twice, three minutes apart, each time for 3-4 seconds. Although observers considered the possibility of a balloon, no photographs or noise were recorded. Weather conditions were clear with excellent visibility. The official report classified it as "possibly a balloon," but the object's unusual description and behavior raised doubts.
