Summary

In January 1967, personnel at the Patuxent Naval Air Station recorded a series of radar contacts with unidentified objects. The data shows three distinct appearances, with objects separated by 10 miles and others traveling at astonishing speeds, exceeding 6000 miles per hour. One of the objects was observed only 10 miles away before disappearing. The data suggests the objects moved at altitudes between 3000 and 25000 feet, complicating their conventional identification. Additionally, there was coordination with a PAA station in Salisbury, Maryland, which received reports from the Coast Guard about UFO sightings.

These records, although fragmented, clearly indicate that radar operators not only detected objects but also attempted to track their trajectory. The inability to identify them as conventional aircraft or projectiles, combined with unusual speeds and maneuvers, adds mystery to the events. This case is another example of how radar data, although not visual, can offer valuable clues about unexplained aerial phenomena.
