Summary

In August 1952, a CAA engineer in New Mexico observed three oblong, translucent objects moving in an inverted V formation. The sighting lasted nine minutes at 22:20 local time, under favorable weather conditions with 30 miles visibility. The objects performed unusual movements, such as "tumbles" and "flips," which caught the observer's attention. Although no sounds or propulsion were detected, their speed approached sonic levels. The lack of precise data and the unusual nature of the maneuvers led to the conclusion that the objects could not be identified with certainty.

The report, classified under Project 10075, did not include photographs or radar, limiting the possibility of deeper analysis. The observer, located 40 degrees above the horizon, could not determine the exact distance of the objects, further complicating evaluation. Despite optimal observation conditions, the final report indicated that there was insufficient information to classify the phenomenon as a balloon, aircraft, or astronomical event. This case remains one of many in UFO history that remain unexplained.
