Summary

In August 1952, several sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) began to emerge across different parts of the United States and Morocco. One of the most notable cases occurred in Mount Vernon, New York, where a civilian reported an object shaped like a lifesaver, with a black hole at the bottom and smoke coming from the top. The object moved in a 15-degree arc, and although a plane searched the area, it found nothing. This testimony, along with others, was documented by military authorities and added to an investigation file.

In Portland, Oregon, Albert Giroux described a series of lights that appeared and disappeared at regular intervals, following a straight path northwest. Despite his attempts to observe the phenomenon from different directions, he could not identify the source of the lights. In Morocco, a group of five people observed a luminous red disk with blue edges moving rapidly from southeast to northwest. These testimonies, along with others collected by the military, were part of an effort to understand the unexplained aerial phenomena causing concern at the time.
