🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1952, a CAA meteorologist in Duluth, Minnesota, observed a bright object while tracking a balloon. The observer, using a theodolite, noticed a luminous point that remained stationary for two minutes. After adjusting the instrument, he could not locate it again. The object showed no movement, appeared like a reflection of sunlight, and was positioned 22 degrees above the horizon. The report notes that the observer, with years of balloon observation experience, considered the phenomenon unusual. There was no physical evidence or identification of the object, making it an intriguing UFO case.
