🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1952, an engineer from California and his family observed an unusual glowing object moving over Lake Charles, Louisiana. The object, described as a yellowish ball that shifted between red and yellow, moved at high speed, rising, falling, and swaying from side to side before vanishing. The witness, an experienced engineer, confirmed it was not an airplane, rocket, or natural phenomenon. The object left no trail or exhaust and made no sound. The sighting lasted about 50 minutes, prompting a detailed report by air authorities.
The official report could not identify the object, though a meteor was considered. The description, combined with the witness's credibility and lack of conventional explanations, makes this one of the most intriguing UFO cases in history.
