Summary

In August 1952, a witness in Navarro, Minnesota, observed a silver object moving at an incredible speed and in an erratic manner. The sighting lasted between 5 and 6 seconds, and the observer described it as something unlike any conventional aircraft he had ever seen. Although no photos were taken, the report notes that the object moved with sudden directional changes, which confused authorities. The testimony was rated as "Fair" in reliability, but no clear conclusion was reached about the object's nature. The lack of complete weather data and the absence of other witnesses complicated the analysis.

The report was part of Project 10073, a U.S. Air Force initiative to investigate UFO sightings. Despite questions about balloons or astronomical phenomena, the possibility of an unidentified object was not ruled out. The observer, a 23-year-old machinist inspector, gave a detailed and honest account, though he could not identify the object. His description of its speed and movement remains one of the most striking aspects of this case.
