🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1952, a U.S. Air Force colonel observed two unidentified aerial objects near Hermanas, New Mexico. While flying at 35,000 feet at 290 mph, he described two silver spheres approximately 6 feet in diameter moving in formation. One object transformed into a long gray shape during a maneuver, while the other accelerated rapidly. The objects disappeared after three minutes, but reappeared seven minutes later, performing unusual maneuvers such as vertical ascents and close formations. Despite multiple reviews, no conventional explanation was found for the phenomenon.
The observation was detailed and made by an experienced officer, adding credibility to the report. Possibilities such as weather balloons or aircraft were dismissed, and there was no visible propulsion. The official report concluded the case remained unresolved, highlighting the objects' ability to vanish and reappear without explanation.
