🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1952, an observer in Cutbank, Montana, reported a unidentified flying object that suddenly appeared in the sky. The object was described as bright and moving at high speed in a straight line. The witness, considered reliable, indicated the sighting lasted between one and two and a half hours. No changes in direction or speed were observed, which drew attention due to the unusual behavior. The report includes details about the weather conditions, which were clear and windless, supporting the visibility of the phenomenon.
The official 1C373 project document contains detailed questions directed at the witness, including time, location, duration, and characteristics of the sighting. The observer stated the object did not show signs of being a conventional aircraft and did not leave smoke or color changes. Despite the clear description, the object's identity remains unresolved, and the report was shared with several Air Force intelligence units for analysis. This case is another example of the many UFO reports that generated interest during the 1950s.
