🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1952, two U.S. Air Force officers reported an unidentified object while flying near Birmingham, Alabama. The object appeared as a pale blue light with no defined shape, no visible trail or discernible sound. As the pilots observed it, the object made wide circular movements and then elliptical orbits, blinking on and off without a clear pattern. Despite the officers' experience and training, they could not identify the object or explain its behavior.
The official evaluation concluded there was insufficient information to determine the object's nature. Conventional explanations such as balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena were dismissed. The report noted there was no physical evidence, such as photos or recordings, and the weather conditions did not provide an explanation. This case, like many others, added to the mystery of UFOs and was filed without resolution. Although the pilots did not have direct contact with the object, their testimony was considered credible and officially recorded.
