🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1952, a series of UFO sightings in Marietta, Georgia caught the attention of military authorities. Multiple witnesses, including artillery personnel and local residents, reported seeing luminous objects performing maneuvers impossible for aircraft of the time. One account described an object resembling the planet Venus, while another detailed a bright disc emitting sparks and changing colors. Despite numerous reports, there was no clear agreement among descriptions, complicating the evaluation. Dobbins Air Base forwarded the records to air intelligence centers, but no definitive conclusion was reached. The unusual maneuvers and absence of sound added mystery to the events.
