Bright white UFO seen by three observers in Illinois

Summary

Three control tower operators at Chanute AFB in Illinois observed a bright bluish-white object for 45 minutes on September 16, 1952. The object, described as irregular and round, had two small satellites visible only through binoculars. Observers, including a former pilot with extensive experience, noted the object moved with the wind direction and gradually ascended before disappearing.
