Summary

In September 1952, at Robins AFB, Georgia, a group of observers saw two unidentified objects for twenty minutes. They described the objects as white lights with a yellowish cast, larger than a typical star. The sighting occurred at an estimated altitude of 5000 feet, and the objects changed direction toward the southwest. Despite confirmation from several observers, including Air Force officers, there was no sound or physical evidence. Weather conditions were clear with 15 miles visibility, and no storms or inversion layers were recorded.

Investigators considered the possibility of weather balloons, but no launches were documented in the area that day. The heading of the objects matched prevailing winds, suggesting a natural explanation, but no clear cause was found. Although a C-47 landed near the time of the sighting, the pilot did not report seeing anything. Ultimately, the report concluded there was insufficient data to identify the objects, and it was filed without further action.
