In September 1952, a 62-year-old woman reported seeing luminous objects in Newport Beach, California. According to the report, the objects appeared twice, at 2:35 and 4:07 in the morning, with a sound like a soft breeze. The first sighting showed eleven to fifteen objects in formation, while the second showed only one. Both were directly overhead and moving in a straight line from north to south.
