🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1952, personnel at Brooks Air Force Base in Texas observed three unidentified objects described as round, silvery disks. Witnesses, including officers and ground staff, saw the objects maneuvering at high speeds and performing impossible moves for conventional aircraft. Some initially thought they were weather balloons, but soon realized they produced no sound and left no exhaust trails. The objects remained visible for at least an hour, without changing position or shape, sparking confusion and curiosity among observers.
Local authorities, including the air base, could not identify the objects or confirm their nature. Despite radar checks and communication with other units, no unknown aerial activity was recorded. Multiple witnesses gave conflicting accounts of the number of objects and their behavior, complicating the assessment of the incident. The official report, though classified, did not reach a definitive conclusion, leaving the objects as an unresolved mystery in the history of UFO sightings.
