🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1952, two clergymen in Killeen, Texas, observed a formation of around ten luminous objects moving rapidly across the sky. They described how the objects, which appeared to reflect light, suddenly "turned off" as if extinguished. The formation resembled a group of ducks in flight, but their speed was clearly faster than any bird. Although the observers were not aviation experts, they agreed it was not an aircraft. The official report found no radar correlation or other sightings, leaving the nature of the phenomenon unresolved.
The lack of additional records and the inability to obtain more information from the witnesses complicated the evaluation. Despite the clergymen appearing to be credible, the absence of other reports in a city with thousands of residents and a nearby military base added mystery. The report concluded that a natural phenomenon or a misunderstanding could not be ruled out, but no definitive explanation was reached.
