In October 1952, a C-50 crew reported a luminous object over the Pacific. The object appeared as a yellow circle with a reddish glow around it. It was moving at high speed toward Hawaii, and observers estimated its speed between 300 and 400 knots. The sighting lasted 20 seconds, with no trail or sound.
