🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A bright star-like object was observed in Kyushu, Japan, in 1952. Several witnesses, including military personnel, reported seeing a glowing point that changed color between deep orange and pale yellow. The object moved slowly, ascending and descending in altitude, and remained visible for approximately 25 minutes before disappearing to the west. Observers did not report any noise, smoke, or other features that would identify it as an aircraft or rocket. Despite attempts to intercept it with F-94 jets, the object could not be identified. Official reports suggest it might have been a weather balloon or an astronomical phenomenon, though the observers did not consider this. The detailed description and lack of conventional explanations add mystery to this case.
