🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A U.S. Air Force official at Laredo AFB, Texas, reported an unidentified flying object (UFO) on November 3, 1952, at 18:29 hours. The witness, working in the control tower, described the object as an elongated, elliptical body with a whitish-gray color that appeared in the southwest and moved eastward. For a moment, their view of the object was blocked by a brace between two windows. When it reappeared, the UFO was heading southeast and disappeared at an extraordinary speed. The witness estimated the object was visible for 2 to 3 seconds. No exhaust trails, vapor, or recognizable propulsion system were observed. The report notes that another pilot of a T-33 aircraft did not see the object, suggesting it was not a conventional aircraft. The Air Force classified the report as unverified, indicating the nature of the object could not be determined.
