In November 1952, a woman from DeQuincy, Louisiana, observed a bright reddish and green object moving in an unusual way. The object appeared around 8:15 PM and remained visible for over two hours. Initially resembling an airplane, it soon became clear that it made no noise or exhaust trail, and its pulsating, erratic movement set it apart from any known aircraft. The witness, along with her family, tried to observe it with binoculars, but the object kept changing shape and brightness, making identification difficult.
