Unidentified Oval Object with Erratic Flight in Alaska 1952

Summary

A pilot and a radar observer in Alaska reported a white object that turned red as it ascended. Observed in December 1952, the object moved at high speed and displayed unusual behaviors, such as erratic flight paths and a descent resembling a falling star. Despite efforts to identify it, no conventional explanations like balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena were found. The extremely low temperature and lack of noise added mystery to the sighting, which was documented in a declassified Project 10073 report.
