🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In January 1953, a witness in Adak, Alaska, reported an object moving across the sky at great speed. They described an intense blue light with purple edges, silent and without a trail, moving parallel to the horizon and disappearing within seconds. Although the report suggested it could be a meteor, the observer noted it didn’t resemble a typical one. The sighting was officially recorded and classified as a probable astronomical phenomenon.
