Summary

A round orange object was seen in the sky above Warner-Robins AFB, Georgia, in January 1953. Two civilians observed it for about 6 to 7 minutes. The object was moving slowly in a straight line to the south and disappeared suddenly. No sound, smoke, or trail was detected. The witnesses, an electrician and his wife, described it as bright and of indeterminate size. Weather conditions were clear with good visibility, making the sighting even more intriguing. The air base confirmed no weather balloons were launched that day.

Despite the lack of physical or photographic evidence, investigators concluded it could have been an unidentified aircraft. However, no air traffic was reported in the area at that time. This sighting, though unresolved, is part of the many UFO reports that generated interest during the Cold War.
