Summary

In January 1953, a retired USAF colonel and an employee of the FSA in San Francisco observed a silvery object in the sky over Sonoma, California. The object, described as the size of a pinhead held two feet from the eye, was estimated to travel at four times the speed of a jet aircraft. It performed three 360-degree turns and several 90-degree turns, maneuvers impossible for any known aircraft. The colonel, with extensive flying experience, confirmed it could not be a conventional object.

The report, classified and declassified decades later, includes audio recordings and detailed testimonies. Despite USAF efforts, there were no radar contacts or physical evidence. The official conclusion was "unidentified," reflecting the inability to explain the phenomenon with technology available at the time.
