🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In January 1953, a soldier at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, observed an object in the sky described as a reddish ball with a white vapor trail. The testimony includes details such as a northerly direction and an observation time of 1 to 4 minutes. Although multiple witnesses agreed on the visual description, there were discrepancies in the exact time and estimated altitude. The official conclusion pointed to a conventional aircraft, but the object emitted no sound, raising doubts. The report was processed by air intelligence and classified for national defense relevance.
