🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1953, four women reported a disc-shaped, rose-orange object moving at 100 mph, alternating between north and south directions. The object was observed for 10 minutes from the ground, without sound or vapor trail, but with a visible white tail. The observers used binoculars and were part of a civilian flying saucer investigation group. Though the report was deemed unreliable, it provides a detailed account of an unusual aerial phenomenon.
The report, labeled "UNRELIABLE REPORT," was not followed by a formal investigation or official written report. However, its inclusion in military archives suggests the phenomenon was considered sufficiently unusual to be documented. The object's description and erratic behavior reflect common patterns in reports from the era, although the lack of physical or photographic evidence limits its credibility.
