🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In January 1953, a 13-year-old boy in Lexington, Kentucky observed a yellowish oval object moving slowly across the sky. The object grew in size as it approached, remained clearly defined, and then disappeared toward the southeast. Although the Air Force considered it possibly a meteor, the boy's detailed and coherent account stands out. The report includes precise descriptions of the object's movement and appearance, with no physical evidence or photographs. The observation occurred on a moonless and starless night, complicating its identification.
