🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A ground observer in Olean, New York, reported a blue-white object without sound circling overhead in February 1953. The object was seen for approximately seven minutes and was estimated to be at an altitude between 6,000 and 7,000 feet. Although not clearly identified, it was considered possibly an astronomical body or a balloon due to its circular movement. The lack of additional details and photographs made a definitive evaluation difficult. This case is one of many unexplained sightings reported during the 1950s.
