🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1953, a rural worker in North Carolina spotted a mysterious object in the sky. While cutting trees with two colleagues, they saw a grapefruit-shaped object traveling at high altitude and speed. The object made no sound or smoke and was spinning rapidly. Despite the detailed description, authorities concluded there was insufficient information to evaluate the phenomenon with certainty, though they mentioned the possibility of a balloon. The witness, a 37-year-old farmer, insisted it was not a common phenomenon and that others also saw it. The report includes additional testimonies and references to people who can confirm his honesty.
The observation was recorded with a detailed description of the object, its movement, and characteristics. The witness submitted the report to the Air Technical Intelligence Center, where his testimony was valued and he was thanked for his help. Although no definitive conclusion was reached, the case was filed as insufficient for a clear evaluation, yet it remains an interesting account in the history of UFO sightings.
