🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1953, a woman in Dayton, Ohio, observed a UFO with an elongated shape and a yellow-orange color. The object appeared at low altitude and changed its shape to a sphere within seconds. The witness saw it for three minutes and described it as bright but not emitting light around it. The weather was partly cloudy with a light breeze and cold temperature. The woman, who had no prior experience with unidentified aerial phenomena, mentioned she had seen a similar object two nights before. Although the report concluded it was likely Venus, the object's description and behavior suggest an intriguing observation that doesn't easily fit conventional explanations.
