🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March and April 1953, a civilian investigator in Anchorage, Alaska, observed a bright object near Mount Susi. The event occurred twice, at the same time, and the witness described a bright light, the size of a basketball, about 70 miles away. On both occasions, two other people confirmed the sighting. Weather conditions were clear in March and partly cloudy in April. Despite investigations, the source of the light was not definitively identified.
