🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1953, an observer in Montana reported a bright white object moving silently at low speed. The object, which displayed a tail when moving and appeared rounded when stopped, was seen about 35-40 miles west of the observer's position. This case was considered particularly interesting by researchers due to the lack of noise and the detailed description of its movement. Additionally, the object disappeared around 05:55 MST, adding to the mystery of the event.
The report also mentions other cases from the same period, some of which were attributed to Venus, mirages, or balloons. However, the Montana case stood out for its unusual nature and the need for more information for a precise evaluation. Although various conventional explanations, such as aircraft or astronomical phenomena, were considered, the report did not reach a definitive conclusion, highlighting the importance of further investigating such observations.
