🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1953, in Sheaves Cove, Newfoundland, several unidentified flying object sightings were recorded. A civilian witness described a luminous object in the sky moving southwest, appearing similar to a light bulb with an 18-inch tail. Another account mentioned a light observed for 15 seconds, with a 6-inch diameter and no intense glow. Investigators concluded these sightings could be explained as astronomical phenomena or meteor observations. Despite multiple reports, no physical evidence or photographs were found to support the claims. The remote and sparsely populated area complicated investigations, and testimonies varied in details such as direction and duration of the observation.
