🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1953, a Brooklyn resident observed an object described as a yellow teardrop moving slowly across the sky. The witness, an engineer with a mechanical engineering degree, stated it was not an airplane, rocket, or any known light. The object left no trail, changed shape and color several times during its path, and disappeared like a light being turned off. Although initially thought it could be a meteor, the object's characteristics made him doubt. The detailed description and lack of sound or trail make it an intriguing case.
The Air Force concluded it could be a meteor, but the witness's testimony suggests it didn't match known phenomena. The object moved at low altitude, left no trail, and showed color and shape changes that were uncommon. Despite the official report classifying it as astronomical, the witness's account and detailed descriptions leave open the possibility of something unusual.
