In May 1953, a pilot at Goose AFB in Labrador observed an unidentified object moving at an incredible speed. The pilot attempted to chase it in his F-94, but the object quickly outpaced him. According to the report, the object emitted a white light and displayed maneuverability far exceeding any known aircraft. Other witnesses, including control tower personnel and crew members of a commercial airline, also reported seeing mysterious lights near their planes. The lack of radar contact and the inability to photograph the object added to the mystery.
