In June 1953, military personnel at Pepperrell AFB in Newfoundland observed a small silver-tan object hovering at approximately 40,000 feet. The object remained visible for about an hour without showing signs of movement or emissions. Despite favorable weather conditions, there was no radar contact or flight confirmation.
