🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1953, a bright whitish-yellow object was sighted near Opportunity, Montana. Civilian witnesses reported seeing a sphere moving rapidly, rising and falling before disappearing below the horizon. Although a weather balloon was considered a possibility, there was not enough data on wind conditions or trajectory to confirm this. The case was closed due to insufficient evidence.
The lack of physical evidence and the inability to verify atmospheric conditions kept the mystery around this sighting. Despite the witnesses being deemed reliable, the official report did not reach a definitive conclusion, leaving open the possibility that the object was something other than conventional.
