Summary

A rancher in Sheridan, Wyoming, reported in July 1953 having seen an object that passed very quickly overhead. The object made a swishing sound and disappeared in an instant. Although no photos were taken and no physical evidence was found, the observer described the object moving from northwest to southeast. The Lowry Air Base received the report and considered the possibility of a meteor. A questionnaire was sent to gather more details, but the observer's name was redacted.
