🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1953, hundreds of people in Atlantic City witnessed strange objects emerging from the clouds with vapor trails. Witnesses, including civilians and reporters, described the objects moving at high speed between 5,000 and 6,000 feet. Ten pairs of objects were seen, leading many to believe they were flying saucers. The official report attributed them to aircraft characteristics, but no military activity was confirmed in the area.
Pomona Naval Air Station was notified, and interceptors were dispatched, but pilots reported seeing nothing unusual. Without physical evidence and no confirmation of conventional aircraft, the case remained unresolved. Like many others, it was filed as an unidentified incident, leaving no definitive conclusions.
