🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1953, an object was seen near Goat Rock, Georgia, exhibiting unusual movements and color changes. A witness noticed it while stargazing from his porch. The object moved in straight lines and small circular patterns, disappearing behind the western horizon. Although a jet aircraft was considered as a possibility, it could not be confirmed.
The object had a diameter of about two inches and displayed a color-changing cycle every two seconds, shifting from orange to pale blue and then to white. An intelligence officer contacted local astronomers to obtain precise azimuth and elevation measurements using telescopes. Despite these efforts, no conclusive explanation was reached, and the final report did not rule out the possibility of a jet, although it could not be proven with certainty.
