🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1953, a military officer and several civilians in Lawton, Oklahoma, spotted a conical-shaped object emitting a white light. The object, which left a trail three times its length, was moving in a straight line from southeast to northwest. Despite the visual description, the exact size and altitude of the object were not reported. The lack of concrete data prevented authorities from reaching a clear conclusion, reflecting the typical ambiguity of many reports from this period.
The report, originally classified by the military, was deemed insufficient for a definitive evaluation. There were no photos or physical evidence, which limited any deeper analysis. This case, like many others from the era, adds to the mystery surrounding unidentified flying object sightings in the 1950s.
