🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
On the early morning of October 2, 1953, two witnesses at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma observed a luminous object that appeared to move with unusual precision and speed. The object, described as a bright blue-violet point, was approximately twice as large as Venus, which is already quite bright. Despite their efforts to contact the control tower, there was no response, and upon returning, the object was no longer visible. The witnesses, familiar with conventional aircraft, concluded it was not one of them.
The report details unusual behavior: the object stopped, zigzagged, and then hovered in the air for several minutes. Although its exact altitude could not be determined, it was estimated to be above the clouds and possibly in the stratosphere. The speed, though difficult to calculate, was estimated to be over a thousand miles per hour. The witnesses agreed the object was under intelligent control and its maneuverability was unknown to them. This clear and detailed observation adds another chapter to the history of UFO sightings.
